These terms and conditions govern the rights and obligations between AUTOSGM s.r.o., trading as YS Manžel, and the customer when providing handyman and maintenance services.
Contractor identification
AUTOSGM s.r.o., registered office Martinská 2, Bratislava, company ID (IČO): 44 101 384, tax ID (DIČ): 2022701263, VAT ID (IČ DPH): SK2022701263, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III, section Sro, insert no. 54367/B. Contact: phone +421 944 373 505, e-mail info@ysmanzel.sk.
Subject of the contract
The subject of the contract is the provision of maintenance, assembly and small craft work in households and businesses in Bratislava and surroundings. This includes in particular small repairs, furniture assembly, minor plumbing on existing pipework, replacing and installing sockets, switches and light fittings (end devices only), connecting washing machines and dishwashers to existing connection points, adjusting and repairing doors including replacing handles and lock cylinders, hanging and fixing objects, silicone work and small finishing jobs. The contract does not cover electrical wiring and inspections or work on gas appliances.
Order and conclusion of the contract
The contract is concluded on the basis of the customer’s order (by phone, via WhatsApp, by e-mail or the contact form) and its confirmation by the contractor. Before carrying out the work, the contractor sends the customer a confirmation on a durable medium (e-mail or WhatsApp) stating the scope of work, the date, the indicative price and a link to these terms and conditions.
Price and indicative price
Prices are based on an hourly rate or an indicative price per task according to the price list. Indicative prices are listed on ysmanzel.sk in the Prices section. These prices are indicative and do not constitute a binding offer; the contractor confirms the final price before work starts, based on a description or photos. If on arrival the scope of work differs from the request, or additional work turns out to be necessary, the contractor states the adjusted price and starts or carries out the work only with the customer’s consent.
Prices for consumers include VAT. The travel cost, if charged, is stated in the price list or communicated in advance: call-out within Bratislava €20, outside Bratislava €20 + €1 per km from the Bratislava city limit (one way). The contractor communicates the travel cost before the order is confirmed. The price of work does not include material and parts unless agreed otherwise.
Payment terms
Payment is made only after the job is done — in cash or by bank transfer. For larger jobs (over €500) the contractor may request an advance for material. For cash payments the contractor issues a cash register receipt (eKasa), for bank transfers an invoice.
Material
Material (e.g. wall plugs, silicone, filler) is charged at actual cost. Larger components (taps, sockets, lock cylinders, light fittings, etc.) are charged separately at purchase price unless supplied by the customer.
Dates
The date is agreed individually when ordering. It may be postponed for reasons on the customer’s side (no access, missing material) or for reasons beyond the contractor’s control.
Handover
After finishing, the contractor asks the customer to check the work. Defects found at handover are recorded and the contractor remedies them. Payment of the price does not affect the customer’s rights arising from liability for defects, the warranty or complaints.
Warranty
The contractor is liable for defects of the work to the extent and within the periods laid down by law; the warranty period is 24 months from the handover of the work. Material supplied by the contractor is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty does not cover defects caused by improper use, normal wear, third-party intervention or material supplied by the customer. This does not affect consumer rights under special regulations.
Complaints
The customer may file a complaint without undue delay after discovering a defect, in any form: by phone at +421 944 373 505, by e-mail at info@ysmanzel.sk or by post to AUTOSGM s.r.o., Martinská 2, Bratislava. The contractor issues a confirmation of the complaint and of the way it was handled. The complaint is handled without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days of being filed. After this period the consumer has the same rights as in the case of a material breach of contract. The contractor issues a written statement on the outcome. Details are set out in the complaints policy published at ysmanzel.sk/en/complaints-policy.
Withdrawal from the contract
If the customer is a consumer and the contract was concluded at a distance or off-premises, they may withdraw within 14 days of its conclusion without giving a reason (Act No. 102/2014 Coll.). The consumer may notify the withdrawal by e-mail to info@ysmanzel.sk or by any other unequivocal statement; the model withdrawal form available at ysmanzel.sk/en/withdrawal may be used.
If the consumer expressly asks for the service to start before the withdrawal period ends, the contractor requests this separately before starting work (by message or e-mail) together with the information that after the service has been fully provided the consumer loses the right of withdrawal. If the consumer withdraws after the service has started, they pay the contractor for the performance provided so far in proportion to the total scope of the service. After the service has been fully provided, the right of withdrawal expires if the consumer asked for the start and declared that they had been informed of this.
Liability for damage
The contractor is liable for damage caused by its work under general legal regulations. For contracts concluded with businesses, the contractor’s liability for damage is limited to the price of the job, except for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. The contractor is not liable for damage caused by defective material supplied by the customer. Before work starts, the customer must point out hidden wiring or pipes, valuables and other risks.
Personal data protection
Information on the processing of personal data is provided in the Privacy policy.
Dispute resolution
The parties will try to resolve disputes amicably first. Otherwise, a consumer may turn to the competent court of the Slovak Republic. A consumer may also turn to the alternative dispute resolution body: Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI), www.soi.sk, under Act No. 391/2015 Coll.
Final provisions
These terms are valid from 14 October 2026. The contractor reserves the right to change them; changes do not apply to contracts already concluded. The current version is always published at ysmanzel.sk/obchodne-podmienky (Slovak, prevailing) and ysmanzel.sk/en/terms (English).
