A uPVC window that lets in a draught, is hard to close or rubs against the frame usually doesn't need replacing straight away. Often a window adjustment is enough – adjusting the hinges and compression, or replacing worn hardware or seals. We adjust uPVC doors and balcony doors in the same way.
When servicing uPVC windows we check the hardware, compression and seals and tell you whether a repair is enough or a part needs replacing. For doors we fix doors that rub or don't close properly, adjust hinges and frames, and replace locks, cylinders and handles.

How much does uPVC window adjustment cost?
Adjusting a window or door costs from €30 incl. VAT. We agree on the final price in advance, based on the number of windows and the scope of work.
When do uPVC windows need adjusting?
When the window lets in a draught, is hard to close, the handle is stiff or the sash rubs against the frame. Adjusting the compression before winter is also worth it.
Can you replace a lock or cylinder in an entrance door?
Yes. We replace locks, lock cylinders and handles. Send us a photo of the door and the lock, and we'll advise on a suitable type.
Can you fix doors that rub or don't close properly?
Yes. We adjust the hinges and frame, fix the latch and replace or adjust the door closer if needed.
